Trauma
Trauma can leave us feeling desolate and alone. It can feel like we are isolated and no one understands what we are going through. Trauma can change our brain chemistry and as a result, we may have difficulty with our emotions and how we interact with the world. Good news is, this can be changed.
Anxiety + Burnout
Anxiety and burnout can inhibit daily life. Maybe you are having panic attacks in the car, maybe you are sweating because you are thinking about something you dread, or maybe you are getting stomach aches because you are so nervous about something. Burnout can also be hard and can make you feel like you are slowly losing yourself. Maybe you aren’t doing things you enjoy anymore, can’t remember your favorite color, or don’t recall the last time you sang. These can all be somatic responses to anxiety, or signs of burnout maybe from unprocessed feelings, but these feelings don’t have to be permanent.
Attachment
Attachment informs how we view everything within relationships. Attachment is part of why we feel either okay or like it’s the end of the world when people don’t reply to text messages or call us back. Attachment informs how we react to conflict, and how we make repairs to our relationships. If you feel avoidant or anxious in your relationships or, maybe both this doesn't have to be a lifetime thing.
